FUNDRAISER FOR FOSTER A POTTER

The current custodians, Ian and Susie McIntosh, are opening the garden and outbuildings over two days in Spring 2024 … and you are invited!

  • Open garden at one of the oldest working farms in Australia (c.1812)
  • Pottery demonstrations & workshops
  • Art exhibition by local artists & residents of the farm
  • Devonshire tea in the hay shed café
  • Walk in the paddocks
  • … and help raise funds for the 2025 round of FOSTER A POTTER.

Commencing in 2025, FOSTER A POTTER will fund pathways for experienced ceramicists to share their skills with emerging potters, in return for valuable assistance in the day-to-day running of their studio practice. This will help support a healthy diversity in educational options in Australian ceramics.

FOSTER A POTTER (FOPO) is a NFP fundraising organisation which will support and fund ceramics students to learn and work alongside experienced ceramicists and potters to develop practical, technical and business skills and knowledge necessary to setup and successfully run their own ceramics studio and/or practice.
