ON SATURDAY 10 OCTOBER, IT’S POTTERS’ DAY!
We will be featuring a very special exhibition, FOSTERING THE FLAME, along with demonstrations and market stalls by renowned Australian potters: Malcolm Greenwood, Maryke Henderson, Jann Kesby, Daniel Lafferty & Gabrielle Powell, Sandy Lockwood, Chester Nealie & Steve Williams.
On Sunday 11 October, the fun will continue with a puppet show and cattle dog mustering.
On both days, lan and Susie McIntosh (current Denbigh custodians) invite you to visit the pottery and woodworking studios, the gallery and hayshed cafe, and enjoy a walk in the paddocks. Enjoy Devonshire Tea, a sausage sizzle, and lots more on the grounds of Denbigh.
The aim of the weekend is to raise money for FOSTER A POTTER, a charity which funds pathways for experienced ceramicists to share their skills with emerging potters, in return for valuable assistance in the day-to-day running of their studio practice. The student develops practical, technical and business skills and knowledge necessary to set up and successfully run their own ceramics practice.
